Overview

'Inside Track' is an unique hands-on opportunity for those who have completed a YWAM DTS and have a heart to support those at the edge of society in a practical way. As an 'Inside Track' trainee you are involved in all aspects of running the Earls Court Community Project (ECCP) while being supported by an experienced team member. You will also be meeting up regularly with a personal coach who will support you in your personal development and help you clarify and develop your specific calling.

Optional Counselling Training

Once accepted on our 'Inside Track', you may apply for our accredited Certificate in Integrative Counselling Skills & Theory.

IMPORTANT: Our counselling training courses run independently from the 'Inside Track'. Trainees who wish to apply for counselling training courses go through a separate application process and will have to satisfy the particular admission requirements of the course they are applying for.

Admission requirements

Besides a satisfactory completion of both lecture and outreach phases of a YWAM Discipleship Training School (IDS 701 & 702) or Crossroads Discipleship Training School (IDS 703 & 704) you will need to be able to demonstrate a heart and commitment to work with the hurting communities in the world's inner cities.

Although not compulsory it would be benficial that you have some experience of Christian service in church, mission, college group or similar setting and you will need a level of Christian commitment and maturity that will help to cope with the pressures of working in an inner city outreach project such as ECCP.

Individual support

The individual support of trainees is regarded vital and throughout your internship, ECCP will provide you with a work mentor and a personal coach to support you in addressing issues of concern in your work and your personal life.

Work mentor: You will receive a work mentor which oversees the practical aspects and effectiveness of your work at Earls Court Community Project.

Personal coach: In addition to your work mentor you will also receive a personal coach - concerned with your general well-being and personal development and growth.

Community housing & transport

'As an 'Inside Track' trainee you will be offered self-catered accommodation in our Community House in Clapham Junction. Being part of our community house means that you will contribute to community life by cooking, shopping, cleaning, praying etc.
The Clapham Community House is approximately three miles from the Earls Court Community Project (ECCP) - your daily work place. As a trainee you will commute daily from Clapham Junction to the ECCP project using either public transport or walk, either takes approx. 45min one way.

Programme structure
